An amazing week in Queenstown

we spent an amazing week in Queenstown in Winter 2009. The scenery there is unbelievable, and the snow on the peaks was something that we had never seen before, so a real treat (no such thing as snow where we live in tropical Australia).
So much to do in Queenstown. Can highly recommend the Skyline Gondola and luge, the TSS Earnslaw, and the many local pubs and their cosy fires.
But best of all was the trip to Milford Sound. Wow! A long day, but the bus was comfortable and the tour guide was great. The cruise on Milford Sound was breathtaking.
Queenstown is somewhere we will definitely come back to,
